These general conditions of sale apply to sales made between our establishment (Hotel des Gorges du Verdon, 50 chemin de Boulogne, 04120 la Palud-sur-VerdonohaHotel le Provence, 95 route de la Maline, 04120 la Palud-sur-Verdon)Andthe customer.


The prices communicated are public, in €, taxes and services included with the exception of the tourist tax which will be paid on site. The amount of the tourist tax is likely to vary depending on the legal provisions that may be taken. The packaged rates (breakfast, half-board, etc.) are made up of inseparable and non-refundable elements in the event of non-use. The price of the room(s) granted when booking and paid by the customer is the final price. The customer will not be able to claim a rate change on his confirmed reservation in the event of subsequent promotions offered by the establishment via its reservation service, its website or other partner sites. Any reservation will be confirmed after receipt of a first deposit, and the balance due before the arrival of the customer according to the following conditions:


For direct flexible rates:

- for a stay of 1 night: debit of 100% of the stay

- for a stay of 2 nights or more: 50% of the total amount of the reservation will be charged


For Smart Price rates on our live website:

- 100% of the stay will be charged upon booking


For gift vouchers:

- 100% of the amount of the gift voucher will be charged upon booking.


For non-flexible rates on a merchant site (, Expedia,, etc.):

- 100% of the stay will be charged upon booking


The payment of the first installment confirms the reservation and therefore implies the acceptance of our general conditions of sale and cancellation. If the balance due is not paid on the agreed date, the stay will be considered canceled by the customer and the conditions of sale will apply accordingly.     

In case of payment by bank transfer or credit card, the bank charges must be paid by the customer and added to the total amount of the stay. No payment by bank check will be accepted.




Modification of the stay 

Any request for modification or cancellation must be confirmed in writing. These requests will be subject to the cancellation conditions.


Interruption of stay and unused services

Any stay interrupted and shortened by the customer as well as any services reserved and not consumed / not used for any reason whatsoever, including medical and force majeure, will not give rise to any reimbursement.


Cancellation by the customer 


In the event of a no-show (no-show) or the client's inability to arrive on the scheduled day, the costs will amount to 100% of the nights concerned, the deposit will be lost and the entire stay will be debited from your credit card. credit. The customer has 24 hours to inform them of their new arrival date, after 24 hours, the hotel reserves the right to resell the room.


Any cancellation will be subject to the following cancellation conditions:


For direct flexible rates:

- In case of cancellation more than 31 days before arrival, the deposit will be refunded without any penalty.

- In the event of cancellation between 30 days and 3 days from the date of arrival, the deposit is transformed into a non-nominative credit note valid for 1 year. Only one postponement will be possible, in the event of further cancellation following a postponement, the deposit will be lost.

- In the event of cancellation within D-3 of the date of arrival, the deposit is retained and lost.

For Smart Price rates on our live website:

- The stay will be non-cancellable, non-modifiable, 100% charge, no refund.

For gift vouchers:

- Gift vouchers will be valid for one year from the date of purchase, ie the upcoming summer season. If the voucher is not used within the given dates, it may be postponed for an additional fee.      
Any stay booked as a gift voucher and canceled will depend on the same conditions as a stay booked directly at the flexible rate, please refer to these cancellation conditions.

For non-flexible rates on a merchant site (, Expedia,, etc.):

- The stay will be non-cancellable, non-modifiable, 100% charge, no refund.


The weather cannot be a reason for cancellation.

Covid19 specificities

In the event of new confinement and/or administrative closure for health reasons of hotels in France and/or closure of borders preventing our customers residing abroad from joining us, the deposit will be refunded.


Cancellation of the factof the hotelier


The reservation contract may be terminated automatically by the hotelier, without this giving rise to the payment of damages to the customers in the event of an event constituting force majeure, or in the event of the impossibility of operating the the hotel. Deposits paid by the customer will be refunded.



We advise our customers to take out a contract with their insurance company covering cancellation costs, otherwise we offer you the possibility of taking out cancellation insurance at the time of your reservation, contact us!



When booking, you will be asked the number of people (adults and children) occupying the room as well as the names and surnames of each. A supplement may be applied for an additional person (adult or child) not included in the reservation. Under no circumstances may the number of people exceed the maximum capacity of the room.


Animals are accepted as long as they are kept on a leash in the common areas. An animal supplement will be applied upon reservation or upon arrival at the hotel. The hotel reserves the right to refuse an animal that it considers dangerous or whose behavior is likely to disturb the tranquility and comfort of customers. In addition, for everyone's safety, no cleaning service will be provided if the animal is in the room when room service arrives.


Arrival and departure times must be respected, otherwise the customer will be subject to additional charges corresponding to the rate of the additional night.

Arrivals are from 3:00 p.m.

(If you wish to take advantage of the room before 3:00 p.m., we invite you to book the previous night)

The rooms must be vacated before 11:00 a.m.

(If you want to use the room after 11:00 a.m., we invite you to book the next night)

Remember to let us know in case of late arrival (the hotel is closed at night and the reception may be closed after 9:00 p.m.).


Extras consumed by customers must be paid for on the day of departure.


The customer agrees to respect private or common places and will be held responsible for any damage he may cause. Also, any behavior contrary to morality and public order will lead the hotel management to ask the customer to leave the establishment without any compensation or reimbursement.



Your satisfaction is our priority. Nevertheless, for any possible complaint, it is important to ask us when you are present at the hotel or to contact us for a complaint in writing within 10 days.
Any request for a specific accommodation orientation or feature is considered a preference and does not constitute a contractual guarantee. It cannot give right to any compensation.


Any dispute concerning the interpretation and execution of these conditions and which could not be settled amicably, will be the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the commercial court and will be governed by French law.
